James has worked on television most recently It Takes Two and Sunrise for Channel 7. He is remembered fondly by anyone aged six in 1986 as the host of ABC TV's The Afternoon Show. James began his career as a musician studying jazz in Melbourne before going over to the dark side and joining rock bands. In the early 1980s he played with Jo Camilleri, Kate Ceberano, The Models, Absent Friends and Wendy Matthews. James is married to Joanne, a clinical psychologist, has two children Ruby and Roy, and lives in Sydney. |
